There aren’t that many haircuts for guys. Creating a unique look is all in the style. This different undercut hairstyle starts with the classic long on top, short sides cut but with a close cropped undercut. On top, hair is styled with edgy volume and soft spikes.
This style might look beyond the average guys styling capabilities but it’s not. It’s quite similar to a matte pomp with the addition of angled fringe at the front and some texture at the back. Getting height like that isn’t about product at all but using a blow drier. As barber Anthony Gianotti says, to recreate that style at home, “get a blow dryer!” Just a few minutes of heat cuts down on how much product is required and how long a style will last.
If you’re not sure, just ask your barber or stylist. Barber and educator Andrew Kozak says he will hand clients his drier and brush and coach them through styling. That’s all it takes to unlock a huge range of unique men’s hairstyles.
